Neuroscientists at University College London worked on the hidden functions of memory and internal GPS in a randomized experiment on rats.

The researchers wanted to mimic specific neurons in that hippocampus called place cells. According to the Daily Star, cells are activated at this point whenever a person or animal enters into a new environment. The scientists put the rats in one place and gave them sugar mixed water. In the process, rat was able to recall the place and refresh when the person received the value. In this way, these animals will reach the first place mentally, which means they will have mental teleportation in the first place.
The lead author of this study, Dr. Nick Robinson said the place cells actually tell where the rat is and listen to the cells in their place when it is fixed. It provides information on how memories are stored in your brain and also shows the direction of how these memories can affect behavior.
