'BRAIN SIGNAL' WILL BE THE BOON FOR ARMY.....

Can a machine provide feedback to the soldier's brain?  .......the answer is yes.

Wherever the soldier is positioned, he may be allowed to take corrective action before doing anything at his place.  A capability is being developed through which a war can protect a soldier's life. The US is spending $ 6.25 million over five years for such type of research.  The manager of the research programme is Hamid Cream.

According to him, in the research, they are not only measuring the signals, but they are also being analyzed and interpreted.  This test has been performed on monkeys before testing on a human soldier.

This new modification has successfully isolated brain test signals that affect particular actions or behaviors.  The possibility of any type of fighting - machine - human interface using brain signals is very high.  But more work needs to be done in this direction.

This could be the first step towards decoding action-based signals and intentions by isolating brain signals.  Using an algorithmic and complex mathematics, the research team was able to identify which brain signals were directing motion, or behavioral signals.  After a while, those signals can also be removed from other brain signals.

This research program is led by researchers at the University of Southern California.  It is supported by Los Angeles, Berkeley, Duke University and several UK universities.  This amendment may prove to be a milestone for the conservation area.
