WORLD IS GOING TO COLLABORATE WITH INDIA IN SPACE SECTOR......
In the last two to three years, the movement in space has increased a lot. Some countries have already mastered this field, they are thinking of making settlements there. Many other countries are working on their new space missions. Due to the immense potential in this field, many countries have engaged in deep practice on it. In these countries, India's name comes at the top.
India is working on several projects in this area. Now not only private sector companies are being included in the new policy of the country, but the possibilities of recognition of foreign investment have also increased. If direct investment in the space sector can be approved, then foreign companies will be able to do space related work in the country either in collaboration with Indian companies or independently.
According to the report of the Times of India, the space secretary has been told that these steps can be taken under the new policy. He further said that we are ready to move full capacity in the space sector.
Foreign companies will be able to make satellite and launch vehicles here. They will be able to build ground stations here and use our spaceports. They will be able to do so as long as they invest through FDI. '
'National Security Priority'
He also said that although these changes will be made in the new policy, decisions will be taken on the basis of individual cases, given the sensitivity of the space sector. He said, "Our priority will be national security and companies have to follow all the guidelines made."
On partnership with foreign satellite companies, K Sivan said that Indian companies will be able to enter into agreements with foreign companies. For example, Indian companies can invest 60 per cent, while foreign companies can invest 40 per cent through FDI. However, more work needs to be done in this direction.
He said that once the IN-SPACe (Indian National Space Promotion and Atuthorisation Center) is fully operational, more clarity will come out about it. The Department of Space Secretary also said that many domestic and foreign companies have shown interest in this and this thing can prove to be a big achievement for the country.
